Makiwa Gallery Hermanus- You’ve done a lot of work – it helps such a lot if paintings are hung well in a beautiful space. -Durban, South Africa.
Makiwa is the next level!!- Hermanus, South Africa
Umhlanga Rocks – A lot of his own work , which is very bright and happy . There are some beautiful bronzes of wildlife . Some other artists as well. Coming from overseas, with the exchange rate the artworks are “cheap at the price” . The bronzes are well worth a look and beautifully executed and perfectly cast. The paintings are very a recognisable style and a feast of colour. We enjoyed viewing them . Well worth the visit. – UK.
Umhlanga Rocks -“Stunning paintings by Makiwa in brilliant bright colours used with great imagination. Also some lovely landscapes of the Drakensberg by Tony de Freitas.
A feast for the eyes. Makiwa’s work is bright, bold and spectacular. His portraits are unlike anything I’ve ever seen. – UK
